What is dyno testing?

A dyno test helps identify issues such as power loss, underboost or incorrect fuelling. It’s also used to confirm performance after a remap or hardware upgrade. At VGS, we use accurate data to show exactly how your Volkswagen Audi SEAT Skoda & CUPRA vehicle is running, with no guesswork and no inflated figures.

Dyno testing is the process of measuring your car’s power output using a controlled set of rollers, often referred to as a rolling road. It calculates brake horsepower (bhp), torque, and other engine metrics across the rev range, showing exactly how your car performs under load.

We run a Hub Dyno setup at our Swindon workshop, suitable for both 2WD and Haldex 4WD vehicles. All runs include cooling fans, data logging and post-run analysis.
